"I'm sorry bro." Al said under is breath.I looked back it him, "I don't believe you.Nissa wouldn't hurt anyone.Shes the victim!"
"I know someone we can ask.This person knows everything that happens in Azira.She's Very old and very wise."I thought about this after AL said it.If I go see this "All knowing woman" I can prove that Nissa is gone and shes not the one committing these crimes.
"Take me to her."I said,Al looked at me,And game me a strange glance."Its not easy to get to her.Shes behind one of the three red portholes,No one can access these portals.If you try to enter you will be killed."Al said looking at the ground.
"Well,lets find away in."A voice from behind said.It was Marlynx."Its about time something interesting happened around here."
Al and I both glanced at him."Ok then its settled the three of us find a way to get into the womans porthole."I said sounding proud.
The three of us went back to the clans house.It was empty.We walked into Marlynx and I's room. Put on some new cloths and wet my hair so it would lay flat.I looked at Marlynx and Al who both gave me a thumbs up.I looked in Xalda's room which happened to be unlocked,And found a note on his bed(which was a coffin).It read:
Dear Michael,
We have gone out to get ready for the "Azirian Ball". No children are permitted here.So I am asking you to stay here and look after the Clans house,while I'm gone. We wont be back until Later tomorrow,So there is food in the vault.Do not leave the house after The time of the full moon.
"Hey!I yelled.Al and Marlynx came running over.Whats the Azirian ball?"I asked holding the note in the air.Marlynx looked at the note"The Azirian ball is held once every two years.Its held by the empress and only people over the age of eighteen can attend.Its only the biggest shindig in Azira."
"Perfect!" I yelled. Since every one attends this ball,We can go through the red porthole unnoticed.We go in ask the lady,and get the hell out before anyone even notices."Al and Marlynx looked at each other."Were in" They said at the same time.
After grabbing a few snacks and some water we were ready to go.We slid out of the house.AL showed us a short cut through alleys,That lead us to the portal that would take us to the center of Azira. Once there we noticed all the shops where closed.After a few minutes of walking we came to the red porthole.We looked around and stepped in.
Aloud Zing sound came from the porthole and then stopped.We didn't go anywhere ,We couldn't get in.Rage began to swirl inside my head.Just then a sound came from behind us. We whirled around to see a funny looking little kid behind us.
"My name is Josh and for a small fee,I can get you into the porthole."The kid was small,And wore huge glasses that barley fit him.
