The Night

As I lay awake. I notice that the night is more peaceful than the day. The night has an appeal that leaves you wanting more. It speaks to you in a way the day could only dream about. Stars call out to you, the moon whispers your name in soft tones, while the ocean reacts by crashing on the banks.

There is a mystery in the darkness. Though, darkness can be friend or foe. Difference between both is simple, foe you can see coming, but if a friend is a foe, you will never know until it is to late. The darkness hides many things. Animals, human nature, and ugliness.

Ugliness that is human nature. The deaths and the wrongs. The night is not responsible for the darkness that hides within. However, it is responsible for showing us stars and the wonderful moon. There will always be darkness as along as there is some form of light.

Let the light in whatever form guide you and protect you.
