ASK YOURSELF in the most silent hour of your night: must I write? Dig into yourself for a deep answer. And if this answer rings out in assent, if you meet this solemn question with a strong, simple "I must," then build your life in accordance with this necessity..." - Rainer Maria Rilke
Some maple syrup with my pancakes, if you so please
Today was okay, despite the swelteringly hot building.

In PE I caught these two pop flies near the back of the gym. It made me feel really special. biggrin

Then, of course, Randi had to outclass me with her sliding dive and catch...grumble grumble....

Spanish: someone (*COUGHMATTHARRISCOUGH*) switched my regular desk with a small crappy one but he always gets a kick out of seeing me freak, so I just pretended I didn't notice and used my superior attitude eyes. Or tried to? I dunno, maybe I just imagine doing so in my head because I'm a wack job.

Mrs. Callahan started the oral part of the final exam and I started wigging until Cassie told me she was going through the volunteers first.

biggrin

AWC: Mrs. Ovadia gave me compliments on my classwork from last week when she was sick and said I'd do fine in AP Euro. If only she knew...

English: Got praise on my extra credit. It was nice because I tried really hard to get in the mindset of Scout and write it correctly. Then I got a kick out of the following conversation (remains of what I remember, mas o menos):

Mr. Prez: "'Your extra credit is greeaat.' Seriously though, good job."

Me: "Hahaha, thanks. biggrin "

Ry-Ry: "Yeah, she writes so great! It's so good!"

Mr. Prez: "So what are you getting in English then?"

Me: "Mmmm... a C? Maybe a D."

Rachel: "Meghan!"

Mr. Prez: "What the hell? How'd you do that?"

Ry-Ry (laughing): "She never passes her work in!"

Me: "Pretty much. I'd rather read my own books than the assigned ones, and usually do."

Mr Prez: walks out the door.

Haha, I just love showing Mr. Prez the weirdo sides of me. Like, when I went to States, he said, "What are you doing here?" and I replied, "I'm smart if I want to be." He looked all wary as if I'd break out a rubix cube, look at it once, and then solve it behind my back in less than ten seconds.

Then of course, I loved seeing his face when he finds me in the same Euro class as him and Washburn. That was definitely priceless. xd And now he knows that I'm also one of the worst procrastinators alive. mrgreen

Oooohh, just saw Randikin's picture in the newspaper. You look so beasty! twisted
