Hi! I am doing ok and hope you are too. I spent most of the day with Leon and we went into a nearby town and went to the music stores and a skate store and to Hastings. Oh and we caught some lunch at KFC. When did that place get so flippin' expensive?

We found the music book that he was looking for, for his guitar playing. Its one of the music books with songs with actual music from the guitar hero games. He loves it and I thought it was pretty cool too. We also asked around about getting the Avenged Sevenfold City of Evil music book. We are going to have to order it. Thats what happens when you live in a small area like this one.

What was really cool was one of the music stores. The owner of the store had his son in there with him today and the kid was practicing and Leon showed him some stuff. We were there for a long time while they had a jam session. He has really done well in the past year in a half teaching himself this stuff. I am very proud of him.

Well, we found a truck on the way to get leon's book and Woody bought it and now he feels guilty about it because he realizes he promised me a car. And then he bought what he wanted. So what is new. Have I ever gotten to pick a vehical for me out? No! Ladies... this is the sad thing about some relationships.. the guys always feel they know what is best for us. Now tell me... do mini vans actually need dual exhaust? How about pregnant women needing their Blazers jacked up so they can barely get in them. Ok how about a heavy set woman who is only 5 foot tall needing her suburban jacked up and have mud tires put on it? Uhhhhh LOL! Sometimes men don't make too much sense but ok. Lets face it... I love mine despite the fact that I don't always understand him. But you know what... the understanding does come in bits and pieces and when they are trying to pull one over on us we do eventually figure out their tricks etc. LOL!

I didn't swim today. I did help clean the pool but I was the one staying dry this time. I am glad Jon is wanting to swim this summer. I will miss him when he is gone for the rest of his training.

Well, I got some answers to some of my questions today. One of the people that lives near me came over and said "Hey, I play that too!" He was so helpful. Never let it be said that kids can't be helpful to adults. I am already putting some of his tips for Gaia to work.
