Monkeys, Vampires, and Ninja
I've decided to do a review blog for the books I read. Normally I never check these kinds of things out but I figured a dedicated book lover out there would want to see a review blog and find a new book to check out. Enough talking, let's get started!!
For my first review, I've got three manga books I just bought.
Monkey High! by Shouko Akira-If you like manga, romance and monkeys, then this is the perfect manga for you. It all starts when Haruna transfers to a school that she likes to compare to a monkey mountain found at the zoo. Masaru, a.k.a. "Macharu" thoughout the book, tries to befriend her during the preparations for a school play, but Haruna's playing hard to get and refuses. Eventually, love starts to sprout between the two.
I personally love the book and find it very amusing. I think there are two books in the series (maybe three) and I can't wait to read the next.
Chibi Vampire Volume 8 by Yuna Kagesaki- Kenta and Karin are still too shy to announce their getting together, which is causing chaos at school. What's wrong with Anju? And who is the new girl working at Julien?
Chibi Vampire has had a hold on my since the very first volume. With cute art and an amazing storyline, it's hard not to get addicted to this amazing vampire story.
I have started Naruto Volume 29 but have yet to finish it. I plan on posting a review as soon as I finish though.
