so i had lessons today right? mom usually takes me (no liscense sad ...) but today dad had to... i'm still mad at him for last night, and he didn't help it today... my mom has a nice big durango, my dad has a small pt cruiser... whatever that plays into the story later... so we were running behind because as usual, dad is moving soooo slowly... so i have to go get my bass notebook and i ask him to put my bass out in the car... so he takes it out, and puts it in the back, not even getting my case for it, but it's too long. this is where i walk out. he's trying to shut the back and keeps slamming the door against my beautiful bass! THEN i yell at him for that, cuz sure enough it's got a scratch on it, and he yells back and i say whatever, can you please get this right (only i said it nicer) and he sets it standing up diagonally... he asks me if that's ok and i say no, that he's leaning it against the keys and at the first stop it's gonna slam down... so he gets pissed off and slams the door on it AGAIN and walks out... i go inside to get my case and find him and tell him he better get out right now or i'm driving off without him... so he does and he drives really fast nearly running over a couple kids, and i tell him to calm down... then we stopped speaking to each other

as you can see, my dad and i don't always see eye to eye... i may have sounded harsh, but this is my bass! it's my gorgeous Thunderbird that i saved and saved for and love more than any other (it's name is Nikki ^^)... for any of you that have instruments, you can back me up right? you don't just let someone slam your precious around... ugh he made me so mad, and the worst thing was he didn't care! he didn't even apologize for messing it up... ughhh so yes, i talked to Ben (my teacher) and he said he could fix the scratches and stuff and he calmed me down, but still...
