Name's Rosie, I'll be 17 in August, GO MELLIES!!
Summer Fun, Just Not in the Sun >w<
Just like the title says, the summer is half over, and I have been really busy. Problem is, it hasn't been the kind of busy where you go to camp, go swimming, or even hang out with my friends. (Note to Ally: Yeah, I wanna see you again!)
No, what I mean by busy, is that I'm currently in the MCT production (in the making) of Oliver. I play the long song seller who sings for a really long time in Who Will Buy, and I say things like "Wha's the Matter, love," or "BILL SIKES!!" when Nancy gets murdered.
Theresa will be a part of the notorious Fagin's Gang. And guess what? Besides Bett, (who is really Nancy's friend so let's not count her at the moment) she is the only girl in that gang and she has to PRETEND to be a boy!
Dad will be playing Mr. Brownlow, who happens to be the GRANDFATHER of Oliver...cool, right? He gets to shout "MURDER!!!" when Sikes kills Nancy.
So from Monday-Thursday at 6:30 until around 9, we will have play practise...until the play nights which are the 25, 26, and 27 of July, and the 1st and 2nd of August! Please come if you are interested!

Now that THAT'S out of the way, let's move on to Mission Trip (which was totally awesome!) For a week, I went to the Twin Cities in Minnesota (Yeah, sorry I didn't contact you, Al XD ).
For a week, our youth group was grouped together with other youth groups from all over America to help out those in need in the Twin Cities.
My group (GO GROUP 19!), had to help fix up a camp for disabled children known as "Camp Friendship." We were given odd little jobs that usually took one or two days to complete. It was a lot of fun!
And could it not be? What with our group leader, Bob, being totally awesome and telling us hilarious stories about being in the lower parts of Chicago. I still can't believe he fed that cat pop rocks!
Or Nicole, our only freshman who taught me what Sodium really means (not telling! So don't ask!)
How about Christine who told us stories about college and is a great painter.
Special thanks to Chris who let us get the paint off our hands by "Autographing" his paint shirt.
Silent Zach, who was always a comfort to be around once he opened up to us.
Paige, who was sorta silent, but always had something to say.
And Matt (call him sexy temple), who probably still hasn't gotten over his narcissism, but that's okay, we still love him!
I miss them all, but I guess all good things must come to an end.
And now we come to the conclusion of the summer where Theresa and I will be participating in Marching Band Camp. I'll be in the Trumpet Section, and Theresa will be a flag girl.
Happy Summer to All, and to All a Good Break!
