If you know I play maple story then you most likely know who matmorto is.The story behind is is a very sad,hard to believe story, but I promise all events are true.

Let me begin by saying: I am sorry to those who have lost someone close to them...

This tale is called My friendSo sit back and enjoy



We met at level 9, we were the same level.We were friends from the minute we
met.We trained together everyday.Hoping to achieve the goal all players strive for.We had the same tastes in just about every thing in game and out.Then When we both reached our goal, I no longer wanted to say the same level as him, I wanted to be stronger so I began to surpass him at a very fast rate. He began to hate me for this reason,but still pretended to be my friend.
One day he asked me if I had a hermit account, naturally I said yes because It was kinda true.HE asked if he could have it,I told him no because me and my friend shared it. Matt began to get angry. He betray me because of this anger and tricked my friend into giving him the password to the hermit by saying "Mike said it was ok."
I received a call at 3:00 am telling me Matmorto hacked the account and took everything.So naturally I was beyond upset.I contacted him and asked why he did it, He replied by saying "you are a pathetic player and we could never have been true friends." This was a painful thing he said, I began to hate him.
We ran into each other every once-in-a-while. Every time we did I made it clear that he would pay for the misdeeds he had done, His response was "your a idiot."
I ran into many players that had said matmorto had scammed,hacked, or tricked them.I had realized that matmorto was no longer even the same person he used to be.
Weeks had gone by, and no one had heard anything from Matt. I decided to check his level in the rankings, I couldn't believe what I saw. Matmorto had gone from lvl 81-100 in a matter of a week(which was almost impossible.)by the next day he was 120 which was 23 levels higher then me.I knew what he was doing...hacking...
A few days later I ran into him."Matt are you crazy."I asked., he simply replied by saying"looks like I surpassed you."
My last words to Matt were "Matt your karma will come back to you."

The next morning matmorto was removed from the rankings...His character was banned.I called his house about a month later to see how he was doing,I found out that the boy matmorto had fallen into coma shortly after being banned.

My friend...My friend...I am sorry.
