His memory's like a ripple
Waving through my brain
Seeing all these pictures
Helps me ease the pain
The way he ran, the way he smiled
Could keep me going on for miles
The life we shared, the laughs we had
Cheering me when I was sad
He always kept me going
encourageing me on
He loved to see me work
writing and singing songs
But now he's no longer
It was the cost
