Name:
Edward Vance Thorne. He is known as Gray to the world, as the ones who knew him by name are long dead.

Age: 37

Biography:
Edward was a loving man with a loving family. He was a practicing Christian. He went to church, as did they. He was a penitent man who practiced the Bible's teachings and reveled in every day of glory spent by his families side. He returned from work to find his wife smeared across the floor, raped and mutilated and half eaten. His two daughters were killed in the same manner. On his walls a pentagram was drawn and on his floor were words in Aramaic. Words to invoke the Devil.
Driven to the precipice of insanity, Edward fled into the forest. He killed animals with his bear hands, eating what little raw meat he could scavenge. He became a wild thing with no mercy or remorse or thought of the land he came from. When a pair of campers found him on their honeymoon he was rushed to a hospital and treated for psychosis and sociopathic tendencies. He was diagnosed with both.
During the years he spent in captivity Edward found that his vision had gotten stronger. He could see things at a slightly further distance, and hear things more clearly. He was a mad man with a gift.
When he was returned to the civilized world he began practicing at firing ranges. Small arms. Automatic weapons. He picked apart the mechanics and engineering of what he believed was the most beautiful creation Man has ever made: the gun.
He designed his own rifle, had it manufactured, and began down the long and twisted path of secrets. The voices in his head told him of coming storms. Of Demons. Of murder. He listened, and as he picked up his Bible once more he became a darker emissary for God than any that came before him.
A vigilant murderer. A sadistic crusader. He was in more ways animal than human, and yet he swore his life to Christ. A man who lived a life beyond the Black and White of morality.
A man who would come to be known in the Newspaper as Gray.
After the gate opened Gray became a scavenger, looting the dead and stealing their belongings to further his own Divine quest. Several pieces of military equipment

Personality:
A sociopath and delusional schizophrenic, Gray is a madmen in the most frightening senses of the word. He has little regard for the feelings of others and even less regard for their safety. The lives he saves are on accident as he pursues his deluded mission as a Warrior of God. He reads The Bible every day, and murmurs its passages in his sleep. It is his personal drug, and the one thing that keeps him from snapping altogether. He will not hesitate to kill another human if he finds them "guilty" of harboring Demons or "possessed."

Fighting style:
Gray is like a shadow, rarely ever engaging a target from the front or hand to hand. He prefers the feel and the sound of his rifle from far away, watching a head or torso evaporate in a misty red mess. Should he be cornered or confronted face to face he fights much like a wolverine, with rabid urgency and a full offense.

Height/weight:
5' 8" Moderate, mostly muscle.

Melee weapon:
An old that he found in a curio shop outside of London. The shopkeeper declared that it was a cursed blade, used to slay Demons but forever trapping their murderous thoughts in their slayer. Gray took the blade with no hesitation, telling himself that it was his duty to God to become a martyr. It can be seen here. He also carries a pair ofhunting knives with him, hidden under the long coat he wears. They are very ordinary, and it is doubtful that either of them have any particular holy powers.

Ranged weapon:
His rifle. Custom made and built for his hands. It's based off an old model of the Russian made Dragunov, and can be seen here.

Holy weapon:
Vials of holy water stolen from an abandoned church. An antique bible which he carries with him everywhere. Home cast rounds of ammunition which are made of metal scavenged from churches.

Likes:
Revenge. God too.
Dislikes:
Everything that stands in God's way.
Relations:
All known family is deceased.
Other:
Somewhere between Ashemark and Golden Tooth is Gray's safehouse. A makeshift hut stocked full of weapons, food and other items he has stolen and looted from the dead. It is well hidden, but very safe.
Theme Song:
Black Wave - The Shins
