I'm not going to tell you how to live your life.
But I'm going to tell you how I live mine.
A wise drunk man gave me some sage advice that I continue to live by to this day.

It's sad that we got to live our lives this way but it's pretty much the only effective way to stay out of trouble.
I don't get involved with nothing anymore.
If a fight breaks out in a bar.
I don't do nothing.
I don't play the peace maker.
I don't watch.
I don't even call the cops.
I just find my friends.
Square up my tab and get the hell out.
With my eyes forward.
If a mutt bumps into me and spills my beer.
I say sorry.
No matter how wrong he is.
Eyes Forward.
If some jackass cuts me off in traffic.
Spills my coffee, steps on my toe, blows smoke in my face, calls me a name, ect ect.
Eyes forward.
I'll swallow ten mouth fulls of my own pride before I swallow one Hero cookie and get involved with anything.
It's sad but it's how it is.
