Prologue
Her heart was racing as the darkness engulfed her. Sweat was forming on her upper lip, she wiped it away. She looked to her left then her right and sighed. She crouched and called Neko. He meowed in a catty response. She got up and walked through the open gate of the house on the corner. The darkness inside the yard was darker inside than outside on the street. She saw a flash then Neko’s yellow cat eyes.
"Come here Neko” she called and inched forward. Soon she saw she wasn’t all alone. Seconds later it was all over.
