It was late.The night breeze passed through an open window, as Clair Sat at her desk doing homework.She gazed outside to notice the stars where shinning extremely bright,which she thought to be odd considering it had been raining earlier in the day.She sat her pencil down,And let out a slow sigh.The day hadn't been the best day in the world,In fact it was just the opposite.She had been broken up with by her boyfriend whom she had dated for a whole year.Just as she was fading into thought her cell phone rang.
"Clair." The voice spoke in a low voice.
"Ya, this is Clair,may I ask who's calling?"
The call ended.Clair gazed at the number.she didn't recognize it.She leaped onto her bed and let out another long sigh.The clock read 11:05pm she had been studying for almost three hours.
"Life is so hard,Why cant things be more exciting."Just as she spoke a shooting star flew past and vanished.She stared at the sky yet again.
"I wish Something amazing would happen."And with those last words she began to fall asleep,completely oblivious to the fact that that simple wish she made would change her life forever.
