We adopted a cat recently. Not from a shelter or anything - it just wandered up and wouldn't go away. We didn't have a lot of choice.
She's a tabby, the most common type of cat in my area. About a month ago, my aunt heard something outside while she was visiting that sounded like a meow. She's a tetch off-kilter, so we just brushed it off. But later, we noticed a little cat stalking about our bushes. We tried to run it off, but she wouldn't leave.
We named her Kiki.
Today, she killed and ate a chipmunk. Last week, a mouse. A week before that, a lizard.
She's getting fat. </3
