I've never seen a more faithful and masterfully created film adaptation.
I counted only three differences in the entire plot, two major and one minor, aside from omissions. Aside from the story of Rorschach's mask, nothing of utmost importance was skirted.
Brace for a small nerd torrent, but I was almost moved to tears multiple times.
There was comedy, but only in ways the comic allowed but didn't focus on. For the most part, it was all perfectly integrated.
I don't watch movies. I hate showers due to just how long they take, forcing me to do nothing for twenty to thirty minutes. But I feel I spent a beautiful three hours in that theater.
12:01 AM on the East Coast. I believe I may have seen the movie as soon as (normal) humanly possible.
I'm so in love with the world right now.

PS edit: Oh. Also, finally found the beloved Autobot intelligence commander Longarm Prime. The threat of a Decepticon spy will soon cease to be under his watchful eye.
