“Okay, I’ll stay up and watch the house while yall sleep. Then I’ll wake one of yall and yall will take over,” Julie said. It was now night and Julie stood by the front door. The others slowly drifted off into peaceful sleep. “Okay, I’ll fix something to eat,” she said to her self she entered the dark and murky kitchen she flipped on the light. Something move down the hall. “My eyes are just playing a trick,” Julie said taking a deep breath. She saw a flash of lightening. The lights flickered. A loud clap of thunder broke the peaceful night air. “Calm down just calm down,” Julie said over and over in her head but it didn’t calm her. A bolt of lightening turned the sky from pitch black to bright blue. Rain suddenly struck the windows. Another bolt of lightening. More thunder. “Julie, you are sixteen calm down,” Julie muttered. “Just calm down the storm will pas soon enough.” she said. More thunder, louder then ever. The rain inceased, the lights went out. Lightenen stuck the house filed with evil blue light. Julie saw a figure, she couldn’t identify. The house dimmed. The fill after a few moments with more blue light. She gasped. The figure advanced, the lights finally came back on and the figure was gone. Julie felt a hand on her shoulder. She scream. “Julie relax, I’m getting something to drink,” Johnnie laughed.

It was Brandon’s turn to keep post. And he wasn’t even slightly afraid to the storm. “Please a little storm can’t firghten me,” Brandon said to himself. He heard a noise. “It’s just the wind,” he reassured him self. But it didn’t work he soon became frightened so he sat where he could see the others to make sure they were safe. The lights went tout once more. Thunder shock the house. He heard another noise. “Brandon chill,” he said over and over. “ A little rain and thunder can’t kill you,” he said.
