The Paranormal Book Ch 8
“It can’t be happening,” Savannah shrieked. “Suicide?” Bradley asked. “Why?” Julie asked. “No not suicide death made to look like it,” Savannah said. “We need to call the police. Even if they don’t believe us. We will find away to expose the killer,” Savannah said.

“Well every where yall go a freak accident or suicide happens,” the police officer laughed. “Yeah,” Savannah said turning to the others to reminding them to let the police think what they want. Even though Brandon laid on the ground with a knife in his hand and a slit wrist and a suicide note Savannah and the others didn’t believe it. The note said: I’m sorry to leave yall but I have to go. But it wasn’t in Brandon’s writing. Soon after the police officers left the sat and ponder their situation. “Okay this isn’t gonna stop. We are all gonna die. Unless we can avoid it. All of us stay awake and stay together. We need a safe place where nothing could happen,” Savannah said. “Well apparently the killer knows where each one of us lives. He or she killed Addison in the barn and Brandon in Riley’s house. We should actually go somewhere else,” Trent said. “Where?” Savannah asked. “Somewhere far, far away,” Johnnie said. “We can go to my grandparent’s house they live way out in the country its about a 3 hour drive. We can head out tonight so that it will be dark,” Bradley said. “So at midnight we will get in the car and drive to your grandparents,” Savannah said confirming the mission.

When the time came they loaded up and headed out. Bradley drove the tightly packed car. They drove farther and father from the place they feared. Into the unknown places they haven’t been. “Hasn’t that car been following us,” Bradley said peering into the rearview mirror. The three in the back looked. “Don’t look,” Bradley scorned them. They turned back. “Yeah I think,” Savannah mumbled. She was very tired but afraid to go to sleep. Even though she was in safety with the other she was after maybe the brakes were missing or a car bomb would kill them all.

After an hour or so they decided that yes the car was following them. “We need to get out. We can’t lead them to the only place we can run to if things get really bad,” Riley announced. “So let’s pull off here,” Bradley said and before anyone could object he swerved into a field beside a corn field. “Uhm so now what,” Riley questioned. “We run through the corn field. And anyways look the car passed,” Trent said pointing to the car that passed. Everyone got out of the car and headed through the corn. They heard a noise. A shout. A car engine. A bark. Several barks. “RUN,” Savannah screamed leading the pack farther and father into the corn.

“Look there’s a barn we need to get to it maybe we can find something to help us,” Johnnie said now taking lead. A rustling sound rose louder and louder behind them the picked up their pace and sound they were running. When they made it to the barn they ran inside and saw a figure about to make it to the barn. They pushed they pushed the doors quick enough so that they person would get them. “If yall trespassers don’t leave I’ll shot yah and call the police,” an elderly yelled apparently very anger. “Oh, sorry,” Savannah said her head pounded from the run. They opened the door slowly like they were expecting someone to jump out at them. They headed back to the corn field and made there way back though. They were only half way when they heard a sound. It wasn’t an animal but wasn’t loud enough to be a person. Well a person that wasn’t trying to hide. They froze and so did the sound. “Run,” savannah whispered you could barely hear her over the noise.

They broke into a run and finally made it to the car. “OMG were is Julie,” Trent asked knowing well where and what happened to her. “I’ll go back,” Bradley bravely headed to the field. He made his way through and what he found was a vile sight. Julie laid thorn to pieces. Not even an animal would commit such a horrendous thing. Bradley heard breathing coming from behind him. He took a breath then started running to the left of him. “I’ll just run left then go back to the car,” Bradley murmured to himself. “Guys get in the car,” Bradley yelled out of breath when he made it to the clearing. Only a few more strides! he thought.
