I'm sorry that I broke my promise last night -- I cried my eyes out, and it certainly wasn't a happy cry.
I didn't cut myself though. I was gonna, but I wasn't ready to break another promise that I made to you; and one is bad enough.
I'd give ANYTHING to give you a goodbye hug and kiss.
And, please know that I forgive you for not calling me last night.
I understand.
But, I wish I could have said goodbye and wished you good luck.
I'll be right here, though.
Waiting for the letters.
Waiting for my soldier pup to come home.
I promise. And, this one, I won't break either.
