Yesterday was the day of my party.
I woke up at about 9 or so,
Simply because I couldn't sleep anymore. xD
I got on the computer 'till about 11 or so, and then I got dressed.
My outfit was amazing.
I looked so good,
Ready to be the Host of the greatest party ever.
I was going to have a HUGE bash,
I was going to have SO many people coming,
It'd be talked about for years.
Of course, that wasn't NEARLY how it really happened.
Garrett came over with Darius, and we headed to Mrs. Robyn's house, where we set up some more,
And at about 6, people started showing up.
Stephanie, then Darian, then Amy...
A bunch of my friends showed up,
All of whom happen to be in our little circle of friends.
I kept walking out to the street,
Looking, waiting, and hoping more would show up.
I had about 10 people there.
I didn't show it,
But I was down.
How could so many people tell me they were going,
But not show up?
Not even for a minute.
As the party dragged on,
Everyone was having fun, and everyone was partying it up.
Especially Darius,
Dancing around everyone inside the little house we had out back.
I just kinda kept walking around,
And eventually Clarence texted me,
Telling me the band thing they had that day was over with.
I asked him if he could make it to the party,
And he told me that he was trying to find a ride.
Since he moved out,
He lives too far away for me to have asked Garrett or my dad to go pick him up.
I just sat around and stoked the fires we had going, and waited and waited.
He assured me he wanted to go,
But he just didn't have a ride.
After the party was over, he and I texted for a little bit longer,
Before we said goodnight.
I wish he could have been there.
We haven't spent any time together.
At. All.
I know we're not dating or anything,
But he already told me he loves me still,
But that he just doesn't want me.
I've been trying to look my best at school,
So that maybe he might want me again,
But I just don't see how that's possible, if he can't see me outside of school.
And to make matters worse,
He doesn't ever see me at school,
Except rarely in the mornings,
And sometimes in the hallways.
I don't know what I'm going to do about this.
I just..
