A millennium has passed since the defeat of Aizen and his Arrancar, and the soul society seems to have had a smooth one after. Hollows come here and there, but are primarily held in check by the shinigami. The espada still remain, and reside in the depths of hueco mundo. Although their leader had been vanquished, they adopted his ranking system and follow orders according to such. The squads in the soul society have been shifted and the ranks have been passed down to other individuals, a fresh new team now working on keeping the world safe. A veil of peace seems to have dropped over the various dimensions, until one fateful day...
"Sir!" the man was out of breath, and his shihakusho was covered in a mixture of dirt and blood. His eyes were quivering, behind the bright blue a look of intense anxiousness, and of surprise, but not fear. Fear had long been erased through the grueling battle he had just endured. His entire squad massacred, the Hollows, and that human.
"Report," his eyes were closed and his lips were pursed. He had seen many-a-shinigami come to him like this, nervous, numbed. He was a front-desker, an information collector, practically a tape recorded. None-the-less, he opened his ears, and his monotone voice rung out again, impatient, "Report!" ....
The conversation that followed was something that no one in the entire soul society had expected. Upon finishing a normal patrol, a company of soul reapers were preparing to return to the Soul Society after dispatching various low level hollows. Before being able to go through the gateway they were confronted by a Gillian Class Menos, and nearly completely massacred before the impossible happened. They were saved by a group of shinigami. This group had no squad, and there shihakushos were all very peculiar. They wielded their Zanpakutō's clumsily and a handful of them died, but regardless, he was saved by this group.
All throughout Earth, the Soul Society, and even Hueco Mundo various individuals are being affected by an outside force. Reiatsu is flying wildly and reaking havoc upon the natural order of the Shinigamis. The conflict has come to the point, What or Who is causing this all to happen? It's up to you to find out.
(This sudden spike in Reiatsu is affecting many beings in many ways; it's turning people into 'overnight shinigami' in freak occurences, driving others berserk, feeding hollows to the point of near explosion or birthing new Arrancars/Vizards. Use your imagination. )

1. This is a literate role play, Good grammar, spelling, and punctuation will be expected.
2. Writer's block is understood, but please, no one-liners. Try for at least two sentences. AT LEAST.
3. You can make up to three characters, but only one may be as high ranking as a captain, and if other characters are inactive they may be removed.
4. If you're playing as a shinigami, when you PM me your profile, title the PM the squad you'll be in. ((If an overnight, title the PM "Ichigo" ))
5. If you're playing an Arrancar, when you PM me your profile, title the PM "Espada (#)," if not playing an Espada, title the PM "Grimmjow"
6. If you're playing a Vizard, when you PM me your profile, title the PM "Vizard"
7. Godmodding isn't allowed, of course. We'll warn you once or twice, and after that you'll be thrown out. Whilst PMing your profiles we may ask you to change some things as well. (Power of course corresponds to rank as well, leeway will be given appropriately)
8. Romance is allowed, but keep it PG-13.
9. Keep your attitude positive OOC, IC it's all up to who your character is. Please don't break personality too much, We know it's kind of hard to stay true to character, but try hard.
10. Cussing is allowed, but don't go on tangents (Unless that's how your character rolls..&& wink
11. We do not enjoy vagueness in our bios. At least include the necessities.
