arrow Here it is, my third annual December journal entry! (I think I said in one of my previous entries that I had deleted my first entry.)
arrow Right, well anyhow, time sure passed by quickly. This year had it's fair shares of ups and downs. I remember my first day at Gaia like it was yesterday; I was such an innocent little boy back then. cool Alot had happened since, and I did occasionally had the feeling to record it here. I had also planned to add some stories, quickwrites, and possibly some art as well, but alas, I didn't have the time. (To be honest, I was procrastinating it most of the time and quite frankly knew no one would really read my journal.) I had such dreams for my journal, but I know I won't do any better of keeping it updated than I did this year. lol
arrow I made some new friends this school year; got to know my other friends better. That's always good. What else can I say about my life..Well, I think it has been a decent year so far. We elected a new president and I just hope he's really the change we want to see. I've been doing well school-wise. Last progress report I got all A's and one B (and it was only by 1 point). Some can argue that isn't great, but either way, it's still pretty up there.
arrow I generally like my classes and teachers this year. Earning some high school credits in middle school, so that's good right? Among one those classes is Spanish. I think learning another language is a good challenge for me. I didn't have the best experience learning a language when we went to the Chinese Catholic School though. xd There is one class I'm not to fond of though, and it's because of the teacher. She's strict and old school I guess, but she has some anger issues.
arrow It's been a good year for Gaia I think. The cash shop has certainly sparked some controversy and the battle system so aptly named "zOMG!" was released amongst other things like the Christmas and Halloween event. A lot can be said about my year on Gaia, but to sum it up in one or two sentences: I enjoyed the changes this website went through this year, got slightly richer, talked to more people, and I was able to learn some important things. However, I think they should focus a bit more on the "free" contents of the site, not that I'm saying they aren't doing a fine job, it's just that their constant advertisement of their products is kinda, unproductive. It makes them seem a bit too money hungry to be honest.
arrow Christmas is just a couple days from now. I don't expect something amazing, maybe a couple things I asked for. I can't really blame my family though; they were working with a budget and I'll be happy with what I get. One thing I had really wanted, and forgot to tell them, was a TY Slush Plushie. Yeah, you read right, a plush toy. I saw one a while ago and I really liked it, so I wanted one ever since.
arrow This has been a rather spur of the moment entry, but then again, so have most of my other ones. I haven't really planned out what I was going to say this time, but I will try to update some other time this week. It was nice to sit down and think back and reflect upon what has happened this year and type them down. There are some things that has happened this year that I do not wish to post. I think it's better this way...
arrow I think I need to spend a bit more time to reflect upon my actions this year and see how I can be a better person next year. I know I haven't been perfect, but I'm on the right road now. Until next entry, happy early holiday/Christmas/Hanukah/Kwanza/Solstice.
