He prowled around me preparing to pounce. I wasn't sure what to do...I cowared and sliped my tail between my legs. I thought of my options. If I return an attack, he has claws. If I move he'll swipe at me with his claws. Before I could think of another option Root flew in and tackled the Mountain Lion. "Root!" I yelled. They struggled in slow motion to me. "Stream! Run!" Root said while he had momentarally pinned down the mountain lion. I was torn between fear for two things, the furthest from my mind was my own safety. The closest, was Root's safety..."...Root..." I began to plead tears softly ran down my face. The mountain lion took a swipe at Root, opening a large wound on his chest. I growled softly, I refuse to let that being land another fur on him. My tail came out from between my legs and my fur began to rise. I tore the being off Root, and threw him to a tree. He slamed into it and fell to the floor knocked out. Root stood there amazed and then he blushed a deep red. "Umm...Stream..." Root stuttered. Oh yeah...I myself hide behind a tree.

Root had tied up the mountain lion being and I was in warm clothes at last. Root held me close to him while we waited to question the mountian lion. Root had already asked me what he had done to me, he wanted to kill him for it. But when I asked him where he went, he fell silent. I decided to wait untill later.
