Chapter 2
ATTENTION! 23RD DIVISION PLEASE REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL HALL IMMEDIATELY!
The sound of a loud hollow voice cut through the silence of the morning, sending Enrie springing up from the tub in surprise, grabbing a pistol he had stashed secretly inside the garbage bin beside the bathtub. Pointing it randomly, he wiped his eyes clear of the steam that caked him and the whole inside of the bathroom, fogging up his vision. The announcement was replayed once more, the man knowing that his day was just about to get worse, already he had a bad start by waking up from a hellish nightmare about his past...
A good thirty minutes later and then he was out of the abandoned hotel room he had taken over as his new home and into the chilly New York morning. Wearing nothing but a thin white shirt and camo pants, he should have been freezing his fingers off but the man merely walked into the cold, even daring to jog towards the Council Hall which was a good 2 miles away from his place.
I better get some exercise along the way...I'm getting more and more out of shape recently
