Hundred Years Of Blood
Chapter 3

Enrie stepped out of the Legislative Room, already briefed with their mission for the day as his comrade-in-arms all saluted him in unison.

"At ease men...", he said in his raspy Manhattan accent, hands tucked behind his back as he paced back and forth in front of his crew. Coughing first to clear the knot on his throat, he finally stoped walking, panning his eyes and focusing them on no one particular as he started to begin his litany.

"Well ain't this a fine time to be called out for a mission ay?", Enrie said with a chuckle to ease the tension, a couple of laughs here and there and soft grunts of approval following after. "Men our division is called out for a different kind of Gathering mission for this morning. And today we are NOT looking for food but apparently survivors outside of the City."

A few gasp and wide eyes were directed at him as soon as the word survivor left his mouth. Answering their unspoken questions he continued, "Yes men we are gonna be out hunting for HUMANS today. Apparently Outpost Number 3 spotted a lone straggler walking around the streets east of the City. They said that they were about to snipe her down except for the fact that she's pretty much still living when they saw how she was walking!" Enrie knew now that he had caught his platoon's attention, for it is very rare to find a survivor outside the walls of the City. Who could survive alone in that wasteland? With those things running around it's pretty much a death sentence...

"We meet at the East gates in ONE-ZERO minutes...no more, no less", then with loud shout he finished, "MEN MOVE OUT!"
