Chapter 2: The Misuse of Aguamenti
The Golden trio were in Charms along with the Slytherins, and Professor Flitwick was teaching them the Aguamenti spell, “Now this spell will shoot a jet stream of water out of your wands, now I want you all to pair up,” Everyone in the classroom began to whisper to their partners, “With someone from the other house.” This caused a simultaneous groan to be released from all the students, “Now, now, stop complaining, and pair up.” Flitwick demanded... Even though it was hard to be demanding when you were only 2 feet and 6 inches high and standing on top of a large pile of books.
Harry partnered with Draco, Ron with Goyle, and Hermione with Crab, “Scared, p***y cat?” Draco taunted as he readied his wand, “You wish, you sniveling little worm.” Harry replied, and Draco narrowed his eyes. “You’re going down Weasel!” Goyle said, “Oh, shut up, you fat arse.” Ron replied. “This is too easy, pairing me up with a mudblood.” Crab said to Hermione, to which she replied, “I hope you realize that even though I’m a mudblood, my intelligence is so much greater than yours, that if I was struck with a mental disability, had all my body extremities removed, and was lacking visual perception and hearing impairment, I’d still win against you.” “...Wha’?” Crab was now scratching his head like a gorilla trying to process the words that Hermione used.
“Now, I want one person to use the Protego spell, while one casts the Aguamenti spell, okay?” But unbeknownst to the Ravenclaw head, no one was planning on using the Protego spell, and instead they were intent on drowning their partner.
“Okay, now ready, three, two, one-“ “AGUAMENTI!!!” came the collective shouts of the students, “I said someone use the Protego spell, darn it, the Protego spell!” Flitwick shouted before the room started to collect with water and he fell off his tower of books and into the water.
-SPLASH!-
-20 minutes later-
-20 minutes later-
Professor Snape and McGonagall were walking down the hallway to fetch Professor Flitwick; they had a mandatory teachers meeting with Dumbledore at the moment. Just before Snape was about to knock on the door, he noticed something, “It’s quiet... Too quiet.” McGonagall just gave him a weird look and told him to open the door.
-WHOOSH!-
He opened the door from the side, and it was a good thing that he did because water and bodies of students came rushing out and flooded the hall way, “OH, MY GOODNESS!” McGonagall shouted as she saw all her precious Gryffindors drowned bodies, “Looks like Flitwick forgot about the Aguamenti incident of 1987, -sigh- those poor children at ’s... They had no idea.”
McGonagall gave Snape and incredulous look before turning back to the students, and then back to Snape again, “What?” he asked. She pointed at the body Professor Flitwick as he floated by, face down. “Psh, less mouths to teach if you ask me.” McGonagall’s left eye twitched before she pulled out her wand, “AGUAMENTI!” “BLARGAH!” Snape shouted, trying to stop the rushing water, but after a few more seconds, he laid face down in the large puddle of water that went up around McGonagall’s ankles.
Before anyone could see the damage she had done, McGonagall quickly changed back into her animagus form of a tabby cat, and quickly trotted down another hallway.
-Splish, splash, splish, splash-
Those were the sounds that Filch and Mrs. Norris’ footsteps made while walking through the water; he rounded the corner into the hallway where Flitwick’s classroom was, hoping to get some answers. As he went around the corner, he saw the hallway littered with drowned bodies of students, and two of the teachers. “.......” Was all Filch said before this, “I know they don’t expect me to clean this up!”
-End-
SH: And so ends chapter two of Misuse of Spells. Next up is Duro, the spell the spell that turns whatever the caster wants into stone.
