I was broken once, as you were too
And I was broken again…and so were you
Our hearts had mended, our wants complete
…But…fate brought us brutal deceit.

I miss you so…you miss me too
It hurts so bad…to think of you
I want you back, to have you here;
To feel your heart beat closely near

A tear thus falls, a pain thus breaks
Thus just my soul…agony takes
These tears bleed hard, and they fall slow
Tearing, hurting, tormenting me so

That shattered sphere, upon our floor
Broken again…..but we have its core
But still it kills, to sit with shards
Who knew life could be so hard?

To resurrect our broken hearts, is such an arduous task
But…we gather the pieces , as best we can, with a hiding mask
So sharp, so small, so fragile; these pieces leave me insane.
So hard to put back together, when no hope remains

Your far away, your hard to feel, I hear your voice within the wind
I cannot see where you may be, I want your breathe upon my skin
My finger slips right through your hand, but still we try to reach
The burden of our broken sphere, feeds on us like a leach

We are so lost, my love…It hurts to even feel
Whats worst of all, all of this; without you, I can’t heal
