photographic memory is good in its idealism, but no one really seems to realize that such a gift has such torturous side-effects-
try this on for size- something that you see that you want to forget ends up randomly popping into your head. You can never ever forget it. Not even if you want to. You go through life remembering your childhood vividly- the good and the bad, and they both eventually becoming soured by the torture of having to relive them over and over and over again in an endless cycle. The good thing? If you've seen a movie you like, you can watch it as much as you like in your head, but that also takes the joy of watching it again after a while out of it. There are many things I wish to forget, and many more that my mind won't allow me to.
