I'm a total trendsetter,Will fits your typical nerdy stereotype. He's a bit on the scrawny side, pale, wears glasses, and parts his blonde hair on the side. He tends to wear darker colored t-shirts and hoodies with bizarre designs on them. He has a penchant for wearing soccer socks with shorts, and is almost never without his DJ headphones.
Everyone has issues,Luke is typically seen with blaring headphones in his ears, off in his own little world. He is outgoing, but doesn't particularly start conversations with people he doesn't know, and doesn't have very good social skills.
He's intelligent, and a heavy believer in self-reliance. Luke is also very open-minded, and likes to try new things. The only people he can't stand are arrogant people.
As an X-Man, he shows a lot of potential as a field leader. The problem is, he's not confident enough to realize that potential. He is a decent fighter, but doesn't have much training yet, and prefers to avoid confrontation if possible. He thinks of Cyclops as his role model.

Back in my day, Luke's father was a politician in the U.K. His family was rich, but Luke by no means had a great life. As soon as Luke and his older brother, Glenn, were old enough, they were sent off to an all boys boarding school. They only saw their parents on holidays and vacations, and he never got the opportunity to grow up in a normal home. His brother, Glenn, was the only person Luke ever considered family.
When Luke was fourteen he began developing his ability. At first, he thought his powers were amazing and played with them whenever he could, but then he started hearing about mutant prejudice. In one case, there was a mutant actually beaten to death not far from where he was, which frightened him into hiding them constantly. Pretty soon, Glenn went off to college and Luke was completely alone, and felt awkward and confused.
Over one vacation, Luke accidentally slipped up, and his parents saw him move an object. They immediately knew he was a mutant. At the time, Luke's father was campaigning for another term in Parliament. More concerned about his credibility if the people found out his son was a mutant than his child's well being, he shipped the boy off to the States and out of the public's eye. As far as Luke was concerned,this was the best thing that ever happened to him.
Look what I can do! Luke is a telekinetic. He can use psychic energy to manipulate objects. He sees this energy as a light blue aura, but it is invisible to others. Luke can use his power to lift 2 tons of weight without any severe strain. He can also use his powers for limited flight. Luke is a bit obsessed with his powers, and has a tendency to float around instead of walking. Luke uses his hands to manipulate energy, so if he can't move his arms it severely limits his power down to only small objects.

Personal History: William grew up as a sickly boy. He had frequent doctor visits and was not aloud to play outside with the other children for very long. This got even worse when at the age of twelve he was diagnose with Acute myeloid leukemia. He was diagnosed with only four months left to live.
Two months later, Will had given up and spent his days lying in bed, waiting for death. Will's mother, not being able to see her son like this, called her father, Daniel Linderman, for help. The two of them had a falling out and hadn't spoken to each other in almost fifteen years, Will didn't even know he had a grandfather, but he had money and resources, maybe he could help. Linderman immediately flew out to New York and met William. He hugged the boy and promised he would make up for all the time he missed out with him. The next day William was completely healed. People called it a miracle.

On the other hand, he also has a live life to the fullest attitude and is very adventurous and likes to keep busy. He's traveled a lot with his Grandfather and has been on every club and team at his school, currently doing Photography Club and plays right wing for JV soccer. He's also very compassionate and has a deep sense of right and wrong.
