Physical Description: her face seems very serious almost all of the time to the point that it's almost scary.
Personality: She has two different sides, one of the Takenagaoni, which hunts endlessly and indiscriminantly for souls to consume, and the rather apathetic side of her which prefers to sleep all day.

Weapon Bio: The Takenagaoni (Towering Demon) is named after the essence that created it. It is said that if this blade stabs someone, it will consume his or her soul to empower it. Depending on the quantity/quality of the soul, the sword grows in length, which its current length sits at 83cm. The sword can shorten itself to any previous length so that it may fit its sheath or surprise it’s enemy by lengthening itself during battle. (keep in mind that in order to grow even 1cm it would take either a VERY large bounty of souls or an incredibly rich soul. So for the purpose of this rp, it probably won’t be increasing itself anytime soon. It should also be noted that Jounin level or higher should be able to escape the soul sucking effect by removing the blade quickly. If done, the shinobi should only suffer a minor exhaustion.)
Character Bio: Shikyo was 8 years old when she discovered the Takenagaoni and used it as a source of vitality in order to survive the desert wastelands of the sand country. While her origin is actually of the rice country, a string of events brought her to a small village within the lightning country around the age of 9. They took her in as their own, and it was around 5 years later that she wished to be a ninja. After attending the academy for 8 years and passing the chunin exam in her early twenties, she wasn’t promoted to jounin ‘til her 30th birthday. Her lack of jutsu spurned on this delay, where as she didn’t have to rely so much on it since she could channel her chakra through the Takenagaoni.
(Techniques)Weapon abilities list:
1) Mitsurugi-style: Oni-dorei (Demon’s Thrall) – the unsheathing of the sword allows a series of strikes in a 360 fashion. Not to be used defensively, the range can be increased indefinitely for an equal sacrafice of power. (ex. 1x length of the sword= fatal range, 2x the current length of the sword= cutting range, 3x length of the sword= nothing more than a gust of wind.
2) Tachi-Seiho: Bikousutoraiku (Shadow Strike) – the initial swing is at normal speed, but a second swing is initiated immediately after at such a blinding speed that you seem to be cut by the initial swing’s shadow. Normal eyes will not be able to perceive the second swing.
3) Yagyu: Yaburemetsuki (splitting moon) – the sword is pierced into the ground while the wielder gives force in an upwards fashion. Momentum is built up within the blade and upon leaving the ground, releases a monumental amount of force. This ability is often combined with a chakra attribute in order to create a secondary effect.
Ninjutsu:
1) Futon: Daitoppa (C-Rank) – user blows out a large amount of wind, enough to level an area.
2) Kazekiri (B-Rank) – After a string of handseals, the user throws out a rather large but avoidable blade of wind. This attack is mainly used to immobilize larger creatures.
3) Doton: Yomi Numa (A-Rank) – Changes the surrounding to that of a swamp, making it harder to move.
4) Doro Gaeshi (C-Rank) – By slamming fist into the ground, a wall of stone is made, a piercing force can break the wall.
