Over the next few years, the three train together, and do a lot of class assignments together. There current ages to date are as follows.
Alex: 9
Kevin: 10
Iris: 9
Lily: 11
As Lily had graduated at age 8, she's been working at the hospital, making medicines, and honing her magic in her free time. As for the other three, they've been through a lot together. Recently, the class has split itself into groups for a survival mission. Each group is to enter the mountains at a different area, and find a plant known as a Frozen Mole. Because of the medicinal value of the plant, the students are to find as many as possible, as they will be sent to the hospital for medice making. Aside from that, the mission is to teach the groups to survive, as well as work together under harsh conditions, i.e., the cold of the mountains. Alex, Kevin, and Iris will have to use all their knowledge and skill to protect each other, as well as find supplies. There are many monsters in this range, so it will be especially difficult during the night. They can only bring their backpacks, a few rations, and their equipment. The rest they must find on their own.
