"So, how did you plan revenge for your mother? Was your faithful mother yet a vampire herself?" Brian asked determinedly. "So, you've seen to have interest in this, don't you? Well, there will be more soon, that is, when I will prevail this whole kingdom!" Ambista ran for the stairs that led to Evangeline's room, her mother's room as well. Brian had a strange feeling what Ambista was up to was going to be sorrowful, and may even affect him, too. However, he had to do something. If he was going to make his life worthwhile, now was the time to do it.

Although Evangeline may have been controlled by Ambista for the following past few hours, Evangeline hadn't technically vanished. She was still her, and could see everything that was happening from Ambista's point of view. In her feelings, she was crying of what was for to happen, not even prepared. If only I could speak to Brian now, maybe he would know what to do at a time like this, Evangeline thought to herself. Just then, as if she magically summoned him from her wish, Brian had appeared at the corner of the corridor.

"Ambista, I know what you plan to do, and I shall not let you do such a nasty thing! When you called me an "immortal fool", I knew there was something strange about me. And, when you told me yourself that I was a vampire, I realized something. I had powers, and now, I shall use them!" Brian chanted foreign words in a low and eerie tone that the Sun would bow down at his knees for him to stop. Suddenly, all was still. However, something had changed. Evangeline was back to her own self, and another figure stood not far from her. It seemed to be Ambista, seeming a lot younger than when she was controlling Evangeline. And there, as most could see, a battle was beginning...
