Well! Yuki finally started her new job last week.. I work a horrid shift! Friday, 3:00pm - Monday, 7:00am. and yes, I get to stay over night! ;>> Bleh..
But thats not even the best part... those of you that love to sit on your buts and do probably.. oxo; three things the entire day, not including taking your shower, eating, and going to sleep, would love this job! Oh wait, theres more! You get to take care of six, not five, not four, six handicapped individuals, all with their own things wrong with them!!!
;>> Alright, enough bullcraping.. This job sucks on so many levels.. I'm the only one taking care of six people. They never gave me training so I don't know half the crap I can get into trouble for not knowing.. I can't give medication to my charges so someone has to come do this for me, not to mention the nasty looks I get for them having to take out of their day to do it ;>> I have a ******** moron charge who thinks things will always be her way, and the one time it wasn't, I, not her, I get knocked flat on my a**/back on a concrete enforced linoleum floor. Mind you there is a bit of weight going behind this drop, so CRACK goes me a** and back ;>> not to mention my ankle gave way and almost snapped... But was anything done about it? Mn.... NOPE!
All I ask is that I have a little more help with her so I don't get layed out again... For those of you at home saying, "Why didn't you just knock her a** out!?" ;>> *Sigh* I work with H-a-n-d-i-c-a-p-p-e-d people.. So if I hit, hurt, scare, harm in any way or fashion, I can be one of many outcomes, including sued, fined, put in prison, etc, etc...
Otherwise this job is pretty nice.. I don't really like staying over night.. especially on the weekends ;>> But.. oh well.. I guess... Um.. I get full dental, medical, vision, which is fantastic for me. And all I do the majority of the day is sit on my a** and make sure they don't hurt eachother or themselves and maybe take them places.. of my choice of course ^^ Within reason oxo; Lets see... I don't have to pay for gas, I get a free room, free food (I just have to cook it), free cable, free phone.. Sounds nice, huh?
And it is.. But again, I have to have six people constantly around me... and in order of how hard they are to take care of, theres:
1) Denise, my number one, PAIN IN THE a**! ;>> This girl has serious issues.. shes pretty smart, but stubborn as hell as well as none vocal. If she doesn't get what she wants, she screams bloody murder! Shes also slow when we go somewhere, so that means all my charges scatter and I can't go find them ;>> she won't get out of bed for work, she nearly sat the house on fire trying to cook a bag of popcorn, shes an attention whore and throws a fit if nothing goes her way. Oh.. and apparently I'm the only one that shes ever wet herself three consecutive times for in a row.... Joy..
2) Michael.. We can't even watch a movie without him crying out, "THAT MANS MAD! WHYS HE MAD?!!!?" ;>> Oh boy.. he stays with me when walking, but he strays a little so I have to constantly call for him, I don't mind that though as long as he doesn't get to far behind.. He DOES NOT take baths without me constantly telling him to, he won't shave, he won't change his clothes...
3) Floyd.. this guy... *sigh* I dunno.. hes a mess... he steals, hes a convicted rapist, hes a little slow.. has a movie collection from hell but won't share XD; lol, um... thats about it.
4) Tana, hard hearing, thats about it.. and invades my personal space ;>> I don't like hugs..
5) Aretha. Oh.. boy... this girl is something else oxo; I really love the fact she helps me with Denise and the others, but... shes barely ever there.. and they expect me to be able to keep track of her nutritional agenda... Um.. this made me completely change how I cook sooooo.. yea.. its going to taste horrid ;>>
6) Pam. This little thing I adore actually.. shes five years older than me, but shes very sweet and nice.. shes a little pushy, but shes just trying to help me with the others.. um... shes loud and asks a lot of questions over and over ^^;; Otherwise its nice to have her around.
