Chapter 2: The World of Light
it only took a few minutes for him to transcend worlds. the portal opened and he fell flat on his back in a shallow pool of water. he opened his eyes and a painful blast of light blinded him. he shielded his eyes. " damn light" he cursed. he stood up and forced himself to look around while his eyes adjusted. no sooner had he stepped onto dry land, that the water began to glow violently.
"YOU ARE UNWELCOME, SHADOW SCUM!" said an outraged voice. Dark Link turned to see Ordona in the middle of the spring.
those idiots!!! they delivered me right to a light guardian!, he thought angrily.
" I GUARD THIS LAND AGAINST THAT WHICH THREATENS IT! YOU WILL BE DESTROYED!"
"not a chance" he smirked.
Ordona readied a blast of light.
then he reached for his blade, but his hand closed in on empty air. MY BLADE! THEY NEVER GAVE IT BACK!!!! he thought panicked. it;'d be a whole other story if he had it...
she fired powerful attacks at him, and all he could do was dodge them. he even blocked some with his shield, but that soon crumbled .
how far did they think i'd get with no sword???, he thought annoyed.
however, he began to tire and become careless. that was when Ordona landed a shot, very much like a light arrow, through his left arm. he clenched his teeth and reeled in pain. that was when the second shot connected with his chest. he was sent backwards a few feet. he landed on his back, and lay motionless. instead of finishing him off, Ordona deemed him damned, and left him for dead, falling to pieces and slipping away in that miserable pool. he never even had his chance with Link or Ganon. he failed before he'd even started.
