Dear Vivian,

Who would have thought we would have ended up being this close? In the beginning of our friendship, I thought you were a monster, an evil dark witch that was merciless with her sharp tongue. However over the years, especially our senior year, I was able to get to know the real you. I was able to see the astonishing and marvelous person that you are. I was able to see how kind you actually are, and the hell you have had to live through. It's evident that you have fought hard for a long time. When you told me your secret, I wanted to cry for you. I know you thought that was stupid of me, but I would have never thought that you, of all people, would have been in that conundrum.

Then you told me, "How do you think I feel? Knowing that I can't even go to college". That day, I did cry, and I prayed for you. Vivian, you have proven yourself a strong and powerful woman. If it were for me, you would have everything you dreamed of. You are someone that deserves the world. I wish I would have known sooner Vivian, I would have coerced you (lol, that's the word we used in your paper) into doing everything I did. Regardless, you have done so well for yourself. Through your personal problems, through your familial duties, and through the stupidity of high school, you have survived every obstacle in your way. You have even found yourself a hubby that seems to be perfect for you. I would say that I wish you all the happiness in the world; however, I know that you don't need to wish for it, because you deserve it. For if there is a God in heaven, He would see the hardships you have been through and make it possible for you to attain everything you want and desire.

You are an incredible person, and you have changed my life. You have showed me how important it is to fight for a happier tomorrow, regardless of the circumstances in one's way. You are my hero Vivian. I adore you. Even though we have had our little spats, usually over the simplest of things, I couldn't have asked for a better friend. I don't know if we will keep in touch after high school, or even if Nonis would allow it, but I just want you to know that you have profoundly impacted my life. Thank you for creating memories with me. Thank you for being such a good friend, and I hope that you never forget me, because it'll be impossible to forget you!
