So, last night I got a text from Bryderick.
And I was worried, because we hadn't talked since Sunday,
And even then our conversations were really sporadic and small.
I had seen him in the hallway the other day, and he looked like he was crying.
I didn't have a chance to ask him how he was, but when he texted me, I asked.
And he said "my butt is still sore"
Now, I didn't really know what to make of that,
So I asked him why.
And he said
that some guy fingered him in the shower.
My heart had all but stopped.
He had gone and messed around with someone!?
We weren't dating or anything, but that's still not something you do, when you're still sort of, I don't know, talking to someone.
So, I asked him if he was srs.
And he said yeah,
And that at the wave pool [[meaning Blue Bayou]] there was a guy who told him to wait for him, naked, in the showers.
I freaked out inwardly, because my dad and grandparents were around and awake, so I couldn't just call someone and get this off of my chest.
I texted back "You ******** jerk!"
And turned off my phone.
The next morning, I awoke and he texted me back, telling me that I "failed his ultimate test"
And that he didn't even want to see me anymore.
I was hurt, to say the least--
How do you lie to someone about something like that,
Just to know their reaction!?
I went to school and class sad--
How could he just do this to me, and find a way to be mad at me!?
It wasn't until about 5th hour that I started to feel a little better--
Somehow, talking to Jordan about the play we're reading in English helped a bit,
And Nicole in 6th hour really boosted my spirits, when she called Bryderick a butthead. :]
There are a lot of idiots in the world,
But if you're able to look past them,
And deal with the ones who come across your way,
Then you can find the ones who really mean the world to you.
And who will appreciate you for you.
