but somehing keeps drawing me back.
I wish I could make up for
everything I lack.
I wish this didn't hurt so much
I wish you felt the same.
I wish this was just another crush,
Not some sick, twisted game.
I wish I had the courage.
I wish you had the heart.
I wish you'd notice me,
instead of just tearing me apart.
I wish it was that simple.
I wish words could convey
this empty feeling
building each and everyday.
I wish I could impress you,
or show you what we could be.
But that'll never happen,
because you never notice me.
I wish I wasn't so jealous.
I wish it wasn't her.
I wish you'd show how much
you supposedly care.
It's awfully hard to believe,
since you're never there.
