Zen
It means we’ll never say good bye
Through vicious rain
And through the snow
I promise it will never die
Not for me
Because
You’re so

Beautiful
It hurts when I am not
In your arms I find myself
A better life
For you
And I
To know

So jump the aye oh five
Down the ten
And ride the greyhound home
Break for ninety five and sun
And take the Jacksonville to Rome

I’m waiting here
Beneath the sky
A thousand miles
Is only half way there
But I will wait
On the twenty four
With open arms
And love
To share

Loving you is the only way
I never knew the feelings
That loving truly gave
And now I’m getting known
As the second best
But my dog is not
A thousand feet
Nor is my shot at living blown

For I am everything
That you could always testify
Even under stoney gaze
I know that you are always mine
I swear my love
In every way
And as fade to dust
What is this day
Coming to

When lovers launch
The final stone
That kills the love
That I had known

Of hateful words
Caught in a daze
Of venomous
Seductive greed
And petty lust
With no case to plead

Just never turn

My sacred “zen”
Through everyday

Of the new humanization of old fashioned love
It boils. It pops. Its own hearbeat stops.

Shattered. Dropped. And finally clocked.
Life is all about changes
So Tick Tock Blip Bop
Change this life for the best

Whether or not I am my own clock
I am the one that’s real

My hand this life won’t steal

Without cause or end
My heart could never mend
Without the sentiment
Of someone like you

I spent twenty one years
Feeding all of my fears
Making believe I loved
When I only loved the tears

But now I found a reason
To live on in you
And this time I swear
I’ll make your dreams come true

So are watching this
Perfect cerulean bliss
My love is limitless
Like the sky overhead

And as I watch with a hum
The endless sea above
Every cloud feels like this love
And I know that it is all because of you

I’ve always wanted you here
So that I could be near
The one that I fear
Might be a dream

And to no real surprise
Even my cleverest disguise
Could never hope to hide
The look in my eyes
When I see you

I fear that my dream is coming true
