Delicate Darkness: Chapter One ( Unfinished. . . emo )
She awoke suddenly, sitting upright in a small cot. All around her doctors and hospital staff were running frantically out and into the room. She had no idea of what was going on, or if anyone was even paying attention to her. The girl looked down at herself, realizing she had a hospital gown on; which, she had no idea how it had gotten there. But, there must've been something wrong with her, or something that happened, if she was wearing it. She looked back up to the white, steral room closer. She was in a long, narrow room, the color of the ocean. There were many empty and occupied beds pushed against the light blue walls, as to make room for the many staff that had to move through quickly, in case of an emergency. But, some of the doctors and nurses were actually holding the patients down. And they were holding some kind of syringe, that was filled with a goo-like liquid. And then, they injected it, into them. They tried to repel them, but to no avail. The injected patients convulsed once, and than lay still. She suddenly felt a prickle of fear slither down her spine as her breathing suddenly became faster. What if they did that to her? She clamped her hands down onto the sheets, in a desperate attempt to rebel against them, if they ever tried to hold her down. Her breathing quickened in pace, hyperventilating. She twisted until she could shove her face into the pillow, to try and regulate her breathing. After a moment of deep breathing, she was back to normal. Straightening herself, slowly and hesitantly, she returned to stare back at the small room from her view point. Than, it came to her. Who was she? Why was she even here? and, most of all, what were they doing to those innocent people?
She twitched her eyes all around the room. She began to feel light-headed; a blunt, throbbing pain in the back of her mind echoing, "run." All of a sudden, she flew out from under the covers, making an attempt to run out. Bashing through a pair of double doors, she found herself in an even longer, but much wider hall. There were many more doors, all of which were closed. A small, sickly yellow desk was appointed at the far end, like a sentinal on watch. All but a large constant flickering cieling light lit her way. It seemed deserted, as far as she could tell. Spinning around on the spot, she noticed the walls. They were splattered with blood. At the sight of it, she lurched forward. One hand grabbed her stomach. The other shoving down onto her mouth, to stop herself from retching. Almost at that moment, a door slammed open, knocking into the wall beside it. She gave a little squeak of fear.
"Oh god," She whispered, almost inaudibly.
She covered her mouth again, in case anyone had heard her little whisper. But, of course no one did heard her. There was noone else but her in the hall.
