Nova grew up an orphan,no parents,siblings,or friends to help her. Just her and her instincts. When she was twelve a soul reaper had saved her from a hollow that had seeped through to Soul Society. She learned his name was Kensei and spent five years trying to find him. She trained hard until her muscles ached and her hands felt numb. She got her zanpakutou at an early age of fifteen,his name was Shushin,the God of Wine.
Nova's hard training had paid off when she was accepted into the academy.She seemed to be a natural at kidou and graduated after two years. She was the fifth seat in squad 5 for a while,but dramatically moved up to the captain of the 10th squad. Her, Kensei,and Ginrei had become great friends.
50 years after she became captain, things took a wrong turn for her. She was declared a traitor from Soul Society after having been set up by some higher-ups. The charge was attacking a fellow captain.Nova argued,saying that this was ridiculous and that the higher-ups were scared of her powers rebelling. They didn't favor her and sent her to prison to await her death. While in the cell,Shushin seemed to have absorbed Nova's anger and betrayal and materialized,wreaking havoc over Seritei to find Nova.He found her and squads were dispatched to find her and kill her. Nova and Shushin were cornered on Sōkyoku Hill,and that is where Nova has sealed herself into a casing of her own blood,one of Shushin's abilities. She lay dormant for a hundred years until the Soul Society Arc,which with Ichigo's immense growing spiritual pressure,awoke her from her slumber.

Nova had memories of herself having a peaceful life in Karakura Town. Nova met Ichigo when she transferred to Karakura High,and being the girl she is,fell in love. Her and Ichigo's relationship grew and grew slowly over the year and soon they became best friends. That is until Rukia Kuchiki appeared. After, she started to have dreams of a place called Soul Society and her living in a shack with elderly people. In her dreams she was a little orphan girl who could never have a family because they, somehow, always seemed to pass away in two weeks.Kids have told her it's because she could not control her spirit pressure and it became to much for the weak elderly she always lived with.Whenever she was angry,extremely happy or sad,she would lose control of her spirit pressure,harming those around her.She soon met a soul reaper named Kensei,who took her in and trained her to become a shinigami. Soon she had a zanpakutou,but still could not control her spirit pressure. She was soon entered in the soul academy and passed with flying colors,graduating the same time as other students and was placed into 3rd seat under Kensei.She became good friends with Ginrei's grandson,Byakuya,Shinji Hirako,and Aizen Souske.She was also very fond of a boy named Gin Ichimaru.But soon Kensei and Shinji became hollowfied and she was also hollowfied.She left Soul Society with Kensei to live in the human world. Unbeknownst to her,all her memories of Soul Society would dissapear,faces and names remained,but memories were gone. She got seperated from the Vizards and ended up in an old folk's home where she was taken care of and lived a happy life.For two weeks.
Nova would always try to piece this specific dream together. And when the pieces finally fit,she realized that she might have lived two lives. That her dream was real. All the faces were familiar and she remembered that old couple that claimed to be her grandparents. They made her happy and they passed away just after two weeks.
When Nova was on her way to go to Ichigo's house, she saw her,Rukia Kuchiki,of course she remembered the last name from her dream. When Ichigo became a shinigami,her own old powers began to awaken.She was found out by Soul Society and Byakuya was sent to retrieve her and Rukia from the world of the living. She was soon put into a cell guarded by a shinigami by the name of Hisagi Shuuhei. He had the same "69" tattoo on his cheek as her wrist. And she remembered him from her dream. Kensei saved him in Rukongai. Then she was convinced that she lived here in Soul Society. She had to get out,and fast. But what happens when her zanpakutou starts to control her mind,and set herself after Ichigo?
