My mind over the ages
uhm... stuffness an stuff... i guess. Just trying to help you get to know my mind
Full Life Consequences series.
Okay, so for a while i've been addicted to IctonEntertainment's four-video series, Full Life Consequences. Only recently have I been able to avoid watching it every day [like... the past two days].
My memory isn't all that good [my family rarely eats fish even though I love it, and Omega 3 is supposed to help with memory I think...] so I don't know whether or not I mentioned random reviews throughout the weeks. Feh... This is one of those either way, since I feel really talkative about VULPvibe. May as well get this out of the way before I forget completely.

Okay, so if you haven't watched the series or read the fanfic yet, do at least one. I chose the videos, since they cover both video and fanfic... word for word.
The story overall would make for a fairly decent movie, give or take the character-jump to Henry for the third movie breaking the plot...
Anywho, The plot overall is sound, but if you go on anything barely specific, you'll find it's full of plotholes, other types of bad storytelling, grammar errors, and typos. The few most recognizable would be the words "Wepon", "The pants were dead", "Hug tower", "Humen", the sentence "John Freeman yelled at the top of Lung!", and the "Matrix" scene with GLaDOS [which was the one thing that wasn't in the fanfic]. My favorites, possibly most embarrassing of which for the writer being "Dad! Mom has dead! -random slap-", "And the combines kept coming out of the Hug tower...", and "And when Henry Freeman killed them it gave them HOP."
The "focus" view of this fanfiction in itself is a disgrace with such crap like that, but the story itself is decent. It involves multiple deaths, including that of the famous "Gordon Freeman", the "Final boss", "Next boss", Henry's mother/ John's wife, "Gordon Freeman" again [in Icton's version he's also the "Dark Man"], and the one and only John Freeman. The first two mentioned should be switched so it would be in order.
As the videos themselves, they have their constant humor, but in the case of realism, they basically avoided it for the very last movie which is a downer considering the first two John survived mainly by the "wepon," whereas the last one he was basically Neo up to the end...
The videos were made purely for comedy, although they've now become a cult favorite. If you watch them when in a good mood, you'll find yourself watching them from beginning to end at least twice and then making references...
Oy... So long as they don't put it on TV, then I can call it decent... barely. As a form of entertainment of any kind BUT comedy, this thing would fail beyond belief. But as a comedy, it's pretty good. I can't complain or praise the sounds or effects or visuals because they're all part of the Half-Life 2 series and I've already done my nit-picking on them.
