So yeah, half-assed poem I slapped together in study, if people have suggestions on how to fix it up, let me know. It's not too giant so you don't need to waste time reading a LONG horrible poem, just a short one.
RENEWAL
And so, Nature takes its toll,
the never ending circle of sacrifice.
Each dominant race willingly stepping up to the block,
Every day, marching closer to their own end.
Mother Earth the executioner,
showing Man the folly of his ways.
And ever so slowly,
the forests grow,
the rivers erode,
the wind sings,
And by the time the story of a millenia is over,
a thousand new forests stand tall,
and the world is new.
