Oh. My. God.
So I went to get this ham out of the fridge in out garage, right? And when I walked past my mom's car, I saw a swarm of flies and I was like, "What the...?" But after that I didn't give it any thought. Well, when I walked back past my mom's car when I was going inside, I smelled an ungodly odor. So when I walked in the back door, I said, "Mommy, I think something died in your car." and she was like, "What?" and so I told her about the flies and the smell. So my dad got up and went out side to my mom's car and opened the hood. I started helping my mom with the ham, and like 15 minutes later, I went outside to see what my dad was doing. Here's how that conversation went: "So is there something dead in there?" "Yup." "What is it?" "Probably a kitten." [insert horribly disgusted expression here] "GROSS!" "Yup." So I went back inside and announced to my mom, "There is officially something dead in your car." and she was like, "What is it?!?" and I said, "A kitten." and she was like, "Gross!" and I said, "Yup." So about 15 minutes later, after I started typing this, my dad came in and started talking. This is what I heard out of it: "I saw it's tail first, so I was gonna grab it. But when I pulled it, it must've been so hot in there that....it came off in my hand." I thought I was gonna puke. Because I was eating. That poor kitten. I'll probably have nightmares about the tail thing for weeks. DX
