Ultimaria
I don't really know where I came from...Everything is new to me because of this aspect. In this journal I will catalog all of the events that I come across.
Day 11(Pt 1):
I awoke feeling almost weightless as I realized I was about to plummet from a clock tower overlooking a large city. As I lost my balance, I felt an oversized hand grasp my shoulder and stop my free fall.
"Thank you Toom" I said. "How do you think we were transported to such a high point?"
"Hell if I know" Toom responded. He still held the bottle of the alcohol concoction in his hand.
It was just about twilight, and as I looked around the roof of the enormous structure, my eye caught a glimpse of something silver. When I re-adjusted my view, I realized that the blur of silver was actually a human-sized fox, staring directly at me. Puzzled by the sight of an animal in this high area, I said the only word that seemed to make sense in this situation: "Hello".
To my surprise, the fox retorted with a greeting that was clearly spoken and understandable to any human.
"So we meet again, Haol. You and your oversized friend are quite a task to haul up here you know."
The sudden appearance of a third voice caught Toom's attention. He glanced up and saw the fox finish it's sentence, and immediately threw the bottle he held in his hand off of the building.
Just then, a glare was produced from the fox's fur, and, when the glare ceased, Lyn stood in its place.
"How have your travels treated you? Are you worried about anything at all?" She said.
"Lyn! How did you-" I started, "Never mind." I said. At this point I could believe anything my eyes saw. "Fortunately, my comrade has kept me safe for the time being."
I pointed to Toom, who was now digging in his satchel for another bottle, regretting the fact that he wasted the first.
"Ah. I see" Lyn said, "Have you encountered anymore of Sayrdonix or any other guardians?"
"Yes, regrettably, I have." I stated.
"Zeon?" she questioned.
"Yes exactly!" I exclaimed, "How did you know?"
"Do you really think that I would let you go on alone with Sayrdonix looking for you?" she retorted, "I've been watching over you, Haol. Oh, not only that but I've also been visiting Sayrdonix. I tried to calm him, but he is just so intolerable I've only seen him two to three times a day."
This gave me an idea. "Lyn, you are able to see Sayrdonix whenever you please?
"Yes, why do you ask?" she said.
I paused for a short moment and thought. After a while of silence, I stated: "Lyn, I need you to take me to Noid."
A surprised look quickly formed on her face. "My ears may have deceived me. It sounded like you asked to go to Noid."
"I did. I wish to talk with Sayrdonix. He may help in taking down Zeon." I said.
She looked around, as if her answer was placed on the ground. Then, she said: "Ironic. The very person who tried to kill you might very well be your only hope of defeating Zeon.
"Now you see." I said.
"Very well." she said, "However, you have to wait until I fade, which is my choosing. Normally, when the sun rises."
"Right" I replied.
I turned to Toom, whom was listening to every word spoken.
"Will you be alright alone for a while?" I asked, but then was interrupted by Lyn.
"Heh, he won't be alone, remember?"
I had forgotten that time did not pass when entering Noid. We then waited until sunrise, and Lyn signaled to me that it was time to leave. I followed her courageously. I wanted Sayrdonx's help, but was he willing to accept my invitation?
