I gave up gold for cheap metal,
beautiful sunsets for cloudy days,
I gave up happy laughter for painful tears,
I gave him up for my stupid ways,
I gave up perfection for something not even close,
rainbow colors for black an white,
I gave up my knight for something less nobel,
I gave up my love for heartaches and heartbreak.
