Christmas Eve was fun, hanging out with Chris and Mat and Dano and sniffing soap (and the alcoholic hand lotion). xp We are such losers... and I love it! I beat Chris's tail off at boggle, though he did get me that once. Maybe our change of environment made it harder for you?
That night, I got an Orlando Bloom calendar and a furby from Mat, a KMart gift certificate from Gramma, and $25 worth of Barnes and Nobles gift certificates... which, of course, will be used for two manga and a caffinated beverage next time I'm in Philly.
But yeah, the party went over well. After cleaning and everything, I didn't get to bed until 11pm which was really killing me because I had been up early cleaning and whatnot, then partying... and I was really exhausted. And that sucked because the kids insisted on getting up at 5am. FIVE! I didn't manage to get out of bed until quarter after six-ish, much to the children's dismay because we never begin opening presents until everyone is alive and awake.
It used to be so easy to get up hours before dawn to open presents, but nowadays it's just not as exciting. I dunno, maybe I just finally realize that the presents aren't going to go anywhere and sleeping in a couple extra hours won't make them disappear.
Everything about Christmas is very ceremonious. First we all open up the presents we got for eachother, then we move onto the gifts Santa left.

Oh, and the five of us all pitched in to buy my dad a new video camera. It's really awesome. Daniel was fooling with it (and a plastic nerf gun) yesterday and made this Doom-like movie of our house... it's hilareous. My dad liked it, which makes me happy because it is really hard to buy gifts for someone who doesn't like anything. The man doesn't read anything, he sleeps through movies, and thinks just about any form of entertainment is a waste of time. So, of course, necessities are the only way to go.

All in all, we had a pretty awesome Christmas.... well, that is, except for the fact that I spent two days cleaning to prepair for in and now it's going to take me two days to clean up after it. They joys of sisterhood... xp (I almost said motherhood, but that would be strange.)
Hmm, I sort of like gaia's Christmas items this year, but between watching Daniel play FF X-2, reading A Northern Ligth (for IRC), and surfing the web... I'm not really getting very far, very fast... xp So far all I have are those adorable boots, which may very well be too adorable for my avvie.
Which reminds me of this really adorable *pink* sweater vest thingie I got from my aunt for my birthday. What am I to do with something like that? I do not wear adorable, pink things... it's like the world is trying to conform me into being a delicate cream puff or something. Why can't they just leave me be.
Christmas was here, now it's gone.... and all I have left to look foward to is a new year. Well, that and county band!!! rofl

I have 2 great mangas that I think that you might like to read 3nodding Nana and Paradise Kiss.
BTW I'm going to ask Bobbie if I can borrow his Vandread series and maybe you, Trina, Gladys, and me can chill and watch it. Its a great anime series (thus why that group of people are mentioned)
Its a funny story of 2 worlds one that has all guys and the other is all girls, and 2 ships basically contect together and BAM great story line.
