Can you really see me?
Or are you just staring back at your own reflection
Deep in my soul
There are secrets worth to be told
My heart is bleeding sadness
Throughout this world of madness
Broken and laying still
So many dreams left unfulfilled
Missing kisses on tender lips
Touching you with ghost like fingertips
My eyes are gazing upon you
Can you feel my heated stare
Like i can feel your glare
I'm falling slowly with these broken wings
How can one person handle all these things
Eyes are slowly closing
Would it be wrong to ask you to hold me
For this one last night
You don't have to fight
Let things become right
Just for tonight

As these tears fall from behind my eyes
You cut our ties
Reaching out to the darkness
Fingers grasping at thin air
A lone cry in despair
Was this what you wanted
From being teased and taunted
To torture my soul and heart
When you knew from the start

How fragile i was to hold
And still you insisted on being bold
Taking in such a creature
In the end..it was all lies
No matter how many tries

I would forever be alone
Left with your scent of cologne
Lingering on broken pieces
That cut in to delicate fingers
