Nitemare
First off, I'd just like to say that i hate that they use the shorthand internet version of night for these items. I went a few months where I started spelling "nightmare" like "nitemare" since I thought I must have been spelling it wrong. &.&; Oh well.
So~ we got our legendary item counterpart just as the clue said. The MCs for this month are the nitemare sash and uncanny form.
I think the sash really lives up to its nitemare moniker. It's the counterpart of the angelic sash. It's black, batty, pointy and bulky... just like the other nm items. Hmm... I guess the nm minis don't really live up to their name. XD;; It also sort of mimics the heavenly drapes item that look like a remake of the angelic sash.
The uncanny form must be a counterpart of the superior form. It has six new skin poses. I personally like it more than the superior form just because I think the skins will be easier to fit into my outfits. The superior form skins are harder to match than the uncanny form skins.

Crystal Box
From what I've read, the crystal box contains a set of 'new' items and also other various past RIG items. I've yet to find a list of the past RIG items. The new items are previously unreleased items that you used to be able to find on most wishlists: class headphones, orchid headphones, gold headphones, and single horn.
The date on those headphones correspond with the date of the partition items but weren't released with them. We weren't able to preview the items... but back then, our only headphones were the ports and DJs. Did we have the angelic mic yet? We possibly had the angelic mic headphones... but that was it. The possibility of new headphones was exciting... or not... since we found out they were apparently part of the list of items that were made, but wouldn't be released~
As for the single horn, I thought it was released as the large single horn from faunzy's flute. I guess I was wrong. :}

I always thought that the headphones didn't look like anything too special... but now that I've been able to preview them, wow. Of all of the headphones we have now, they are the closest we have to DJs.
At the moment, the orchid are 325k, the gold are 500k and the class are 2.15m.
I love that Gaia is releasing all of these previously unreleased items. :3 If they work with our avatars, it seems like such a waste not to use them. It makes me wonder about what sorts of goodies those artists and developers are sitting on that we aren't able to see~~

And... i'm not sure how I feel about an RIG being part of a $25 cash card.
I know it's an extra item received on top of the $25 you spend. You get 2500c for your money and a special bonus item. ...But this guarantees that you've just spent $25 on Gaia if you want a crystal box. It also means you have to spend another $25 if you want a second box. That, or shell out 295k for one. It's unfair because not everyone lives near a wal-mart and has the funds to buy a $25 card. At least RIGs in the cash shop are easier to obtain.
On the other hand, the bonus items on the cash cards usually lose popularity... rather quickly. The bonus items don't sell for much since there's a large supply of them.
The ferrets sell for 8.5k. Kaya the cat is 6k. benny the puppy is 7k. korora the penguin is 6.4k, the zomg action pack 2 is 8k. Annnd i don't feel like looking up the other items. XD; This crystal box shouldn't drop in price like the other items since it doesn't grant a specific item or set of items. It grants the headphones, which cannot be obtained anywhere else. So, not only do you not know which headphone you'll get... you probably won't even get the headphones since they're mixed with other various RIG items. ... I wish I could see a list since I don't know whether they're the expensive RIG items or whether an item worth 300g might pop out... Wal-mart should see an increase in their cash card sales and those sales shouldn't fizzle out for a while... Good idea on gaia's part to get people to buy large amounts of cash.

Ooo~ announcement
An announcement appeared while I was writing this, so I might as well comment. XD;
The Gaia and Facebook connect should launch soon.
The first time they connected, people were able to get the go helmet, go phone and go phones.
So far, this announcement only mentions earning gold. You can link your gaia and facebook accounts to share feeds on profile updates, new threads, zomg accomplishments and arena submissions.
I like Gaia because it lets me remain as anonymous as I wish to be. I dislike facebook because it shouts my name for the world to see. I'm not ashamed of anything and have nothing to hide. If I had anything to hide, I wouldn't post it anywhere on the internet. XDD I just like keeping the real world off of Gaia. XD; I'd rather not connect the two sites, so here's hoping that no awesome exclusive items come from the connection.

So I read the FAQ on this subject. Gaia feeds are published to facebook. Facebook feeds are not published to Gaia. No one on Gaia should be able to get any info about your facebook just because they're linked. That doesn't sound as horrible as it first did to me.

I really thought we wouldn't get an option to save our outfits. I wonder how it'll work. Like, will only the images be saved or can we use it as a quick button to equip a favorite outfit instantly. How many outfits will they let us save? &.& &.& I'm pretty sure I'll run out of room quickly. XD; Time to start paying attention to which of my outfits are my favs. PX

Hmm~ in other news, I'm currently waiting to see what the new 999c EI will be. We should also be getting a new RIG and I don't think the crystal box counts as the new RIG...
One of the first songs I learned how to play on guitar was You and Me by Lifehouse. It's very easy except for the bridge that requires barre chords. I never learned the bridge... I should probably go check it out. I still can't bar the chords very well anyway. *shrugs* I'm getting better. At least i can bar them... I just can't move from open chords to barre chords quickly. Nor can i move from barre chord to barre chord quickly. And... half the time my barre chords still sound horrible. XD This is when i wish I had an electric guitar.
Um yeah, when I first learned You and Me, i couldn't sing and play at the same time. Soo i was happy when I played it the other day and found myself singing along just fine. :3 ...Now to learn the words. XD

Eight new hairstyles! o 3o
milkmaid, henry, blossom, bard, dandelion, sunlight, spunky, loose-tail.
Wow. Now these styles are closer to what I've been looking for. That dandelion one is way cute. XD
I'm picky when it comes to hairstyles... so I haven't found one the perfect one for me yet.
I change my avatar often, so I like the hair to be very short. It's easier to hide it that way. Of course, I guess I don't have to worry much about hiding hair anymore since we have wigs. I still like the short styles. Problem is, I don't really want short hair. XD; Sooo I like the styles that they made where the hair is in an up-do or ponytail and very close to the head. That way the hair is long, but acts like short hair.
However, I hate when there's a ponytail in the back of the head. It looks really weird when you equip a bow in the back of the head, behind your ponytail... unrealistically. I love the hairbow from V-day so that item must look good with my hair.
I hate when my ears are covered and my current hairstyle covers my ears. i like when earrings show. However, I like when a small piece of hair sits in front of the ears or else items like elven ears look very odd.
I don't like when bangs cover both eyes, one eye or part of the eyes. I don't like when the whole forehead is covered by bangs since they hide headbands. I hate when a forehead is so big that skin shows between a headband and the hairline. i like hairstyles that look good with glamrock headbands. My current style doesn't. ; .;
I hate when a pigtail or some other part of the hair covers up one of my horns. hair must always look good with horns. :B
And, it sucks when perfect hair comes with scary eyebrows. I don't like when my eyebrows sit behind my eyes or right on top of the lashes. I hate when they look evil, pissed or clownish. I like... normal eyebrows.
And it's sad when I find a style that I like, but don't like any of the colors. I like the old color palette more than the newer one. The newer standard palette is much harder to match.
Um yeah... mini rambling rant of thoughts. I'm sure i left out some points. I'm not saying that all of the Gaia hair is crap. They're all wonderful, for the most part and I like quite a few styles. i just haven't found a perfect style yet that I'd be able to keep forever.
And thus, I like wigs. Heck, even if they made a style that i fell in love with, i'd still use wigs since I like to change my hair color with my outfits.
