There. That's about the only reference I'm going to make to the book.

I've become a bit frustrated. Ok. Very frustrated.

I freely admit that my life is in a rut right now. I'm getting fed up with work, I'm tired all the time, my libido has been waning, I'm ******** tired of the internet and all the n00by teenagers on it, I'm tired of this what used to be nice but is now a complete shithole apartment, I'm tired of my head hurting all the ******** time, I'm tired of scraping by financially, and I'm just tired of life in general.

It seems like I've got three constants in my life that keep me from losing my ******** mind. My wife, my friends, and my beloved video game collection.

I can't wait until we move. It's going to be so awesome. I'll actually get to spend some time with my brother again, and I get my own man cave. How ******** sweet is that?! I get my Fortress of Solitude from all of the bullshit going on in the world.

My job...well, that's a bit of a complicated feeling. On one hand, there's the courier company I work for. I love them. Everyone there is great. I may have only been there directly for 7 month, but everyone treats me like I've been there for years. God knows I'm probably the youngest person there, but I don't know. I don't necessarily fit in, but I blend it. Then, there's the contract work I do for DHL. Yeah...they're still around. Strictly international shipping now. For years, I've hated dealing with DHL. They're the biggest bunch of shysters and crooks to ever walk the face of the planet. They expect you to jump through hoops for them, but then they don't want to ******** pay you a cent. The worst part is that they know they've got you by the short and curlies. Legally, you can't go after them. As a driver, any OSHA complaints or DOT complaints would come back to get the contractor they work for, not DHL. DHL lowballs their contractors, and in turn the contractors don't have the money to give their drivers a sufficient living wage. So, these guys work twice as long as FedEx and UPS drivers and make far less money. Fortunately, I've got it easy by comparison. Since the company I work for is contracted to do long distance runs, I only get about 5 or 6 stops a day. So the money I make is far more lucrative by comparison. I can't complain too much. Driving from DC to Martinsburg every day isn't too bad. Sure, it's 2 hours one way, but I pretty much get left alone (which I love), and everyone out there is incredibly nice. So, I win.

I'm ready to move. I hate my ******** apartment complex. They are the laziest bunch of ******** I've ever ******** dealt with. When I first moved in here 7 years ago, it was great. Leasing office staff was fantastic, all problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently, and this was a generally great place to live. But over time, it's gone to hell in a handbasket. For starters...the old leasing office staff had an exterminator out twice a month as a precautionary measure. Now, they only come if there's a problem. My ******** neighbors gave us ******** bedbugs. BEDBUGS!!! What does the leasing office do? "Oh, since you're the only ones that complained, you're responsible for the problem." Do you ******** believe that s**t?! We never had a problem until our next door neighbors came back from ******** India. So, instead of treating the entire building (which would have been the proper course of action), they treat only our apartment and charge us $265! Bullshit! Then there's other s**t like them charging me $25 a month just so I can park my work van here. They also said they were going to reserve a spot for me. They never ******** did that, but I'm still obligated to ******** pay. Bullshit. My wife and I didn't even bother to go to our pool this summer because the leasing office is now charging for pool passes. Bullshit! We pay a $90 amenities fee every year with the lease renewal for exactly that reason. To cover pool passes, exercise room access, etc...What the ******** are we paying you for if you're going to charge us again? ******** you. You can suck the fattest part of my c**k. Oh, and if they think we're going to pay them to break our lease, they're in for a rude awakening. We aren't paying them s**t for the bullshit we've had to endure in the last year or so.

I'm always tired. I drive a lot of miles every day. Driving is one of the most exhausting things in the world. It takes a great deal of physical and mental stamina to do it day in and day out. I find myself grabbing cat naps whenever I can now just to fight off fatigue. Unfortunately, between that and the copious amounts of caffeine I consume daily, it ******** with my sleep schedule. Right now...It's 2:30 in the morning. I'm still awake. My a** should be asleep right now. I just can't do it. I can't get comfortable enough. It doesn't help matters any that my neck is seriously out of alignment. My skull and neck are misaligned by about 30° and in turn gives me massive headaches. I'm now up to taking 12 ibuprofen tablets just to feel better. Even then, I only get relief when I take it with a Red Bull or Amp or some sort of energy drink.

Things aren't all bad for me. Some things are pretty ******** peachy right now. Keri and I are going to Durham this weekend. Well, Richmond Friday night, and Durham on Saturday. Keri's niece (well, I guess now she's my niece too) is turning 1 and her brother and sister-in-law are throwing together a little party. That's cool. Besides, getting the ******** out of here for the weekend would be nice. We haven't done that since our wedding night. We're visiting friends in Richmond on Friday, which is something else we haven't done in a long time.

Well, enough of my random bullshit for tonight. I've got some other stuff to say, but I'll add that in another post.
