I started to run in what seemed like a deep forest. But the trees...the trees were crystals, shaded into different hues of pink and purples. The light from the moon shined down into this ethereal forest, giving it a weird yet peaceful glow. I would have enjoyed it more, if I wasn't running for my life. I never bothered looking back and seeing who my chaser was. I just kept running. But then my running was cut to hault as I reached a clift. In a normal situation, I would have just panicked. But I felt really calm, despite having this weird sense that my chaser was a dark and menacing creature. As I contemplated jumping off the cliff and fighting, a stranger garbed in white stand by my side.
"What are you going to do?" His soft voice reaches out to me. I turn my head to him and-
I wake up with a jolt. I grimace lightly as a grab my pillow and burry my head with it. It's five in the morning, an hour before I have to go to school. And the same dream for the past two weeks, wakes me up before my alarm clock. "Just another day," I say to myself before reaching for my digital alarm clock by my night stand. I quickly pressed a button on it's interface before placing it back on my night stand and laying down on my bed. I didn't close my eyes. It was pointless to try and go back to sleep. But the vivid images from my dream always bothered me. So, I laid in my bed for a five minutes before hoping into the shower and clearing my mind.
I kept telling myself that it was only a dream and nothing more. That today would start off normally. I repeated that over and over in my mind as I left the shower, got dressed, and ate. But I could never shrug it away. They feeling of dread and fear never left. And every time the dream repeated, the fear would only increase. Something big was going to happen and I was a part of it. If only I knew what was going to happen.
