Oh boy, it's my first competition weekend of the year &w& I have my duo in like... four and a half hours cool i'm so nervous... This is my first duo, I'm usually in groups. So.. ya, like I said, nervous. But happy ^_^ Tomorrow I'm doing my group, and that should be fun, because the song is "Knights of the Round Table" from Spamalot. It's a fun dance. We get swords and everything cool In spring break we're taking it to Disney land, so if anyone's coming to Disney Land in california over spring break, be sure to check us out if you here the song goin' ^_^ So wish me luck if you see this in time! (And Jen, yes. I do like dancing.)
Now for something completely different. My avatar wont save &_& It's like when I couldn't customize my avatar but worse, because I actually can but it wont change.. Now I just wish I could make stuff in paint to put through image sites. Maybe I'll just delete them after I send them through (my brother saved the picture I was working on while he was fiddling with the computer and had to restart it, so I got to keep what I need). I've been thinking about doing that. confused
[EDIT] saturday: well, after all's done, it went pretty well i suppose. i got to keep the trophy from my duo on saturday, which is pretty cool. i might get a pic if i feel like it, and i have a pic of my costume for duo, which if you're all lucky, i might stick in here sometime. i know that i screwed up a few times in the duo, like when i missed my partner's hand sweatdrop oh, we're doing a swing/tap duo, so we had to partner. it's pretty cool. then i got to watch alot of other dances and sit through the awards thing, which is kinda annoying >_> anyways, we got a first place trophy (it's not first over all, it's first score-wise. don't ask me >_> wink . it's sitting right next to the computer ^_^ there was some interesting dances, like this one that kinda bugged me because i couldn't tell if it was hip hop or jazz, and i didn't want to bother my mom for the program (which cost like $7 for some reason >_> but it was pretty big...) and then some other dances. pretty fun night, besides the fact that i didn't get home until like 12:15...
sunday: well today was muuch more interesting i guess. if you call interesting frantic >_> i woke up at around 9 this morning, thinking that my dance was a 2. good, right? so my mom and dad wake up at like 11 and my mom goes out to the car to get the paper which has the times of all the dances from our studio, and i'm supposed to go on at 12 something. so we get all my make up on and crap in like 10-20 minutes, then we get to the place where it's at when all the other people in my group are ready to go on, and back stage (it was break and we were third from when break ended >o< wink so i put my costume on right there in the room we were in. luckily it was just a shirt that could go over my other one, a head thingymabob, gloves and shoe things. and eventually we go on, and i knew that i screwed up again a few times, but over all i did pretty good. so then i just sat and watched dances for like four hours until awards happened, where they did this "pot of gold" thing where they throw out toys from a bit pot thing, and i picked up some stretchy/sticky foot thingy.
also, this morning my friend called me at like 10, and she was like, "hi, are you busy today?" and i said yes, and eventually had to explain what my competition thing was, and i guess she wanted to get together, because she eventually started saying like, "well i guess you'd rather do that than hang out with your friends," which made me not feel so great, kinda guilty which is something i don't need when i'm already nervous and being rushed out the door. then i come home and someone else has called me, and wanted me to call them back, but i didn't because it was kinda late (later now), and i just guessed that he was going to complain about how i can't go rolleyes after once, i really don't want to feel guilty again about not being able to go somewhere (see very first journal post..). so i'm just going to ignore them about that >_> oh ya, and the other friend that called better not have been wondering about it, because he's been bugging me and my other friend that goes to my studio about where my competition was. so... oh well.
